Friends recommended Ashi Itzcalli to us recently as they live nearby and we were thrilled to hear that something authentic had moved into the neighborhood. From the minute we walked in we were made to feel welcome. This is not the Tex/Mex standard fare but is more Mexican regional cuisine, created by a person skilled and passionate about their work.
